Matcha is rich in the rare amino acid L-Theanine (about 3-5x that of a cup of green) which promotes a state of relaxed alertness whilst boosting attention levels and memory. While stress can induce beta waves in the brain (leading to an excited, more agitated state), L-Theanine helps generate alpha waves which promote a state of clarity and focus.
KIKI's organic premium ceremonial grade matcha is exclusively shadow-grown in Kyoto, Japan, close to rivers and in fertile- rich soil, boosting chlorophyll growth. Only the first young, most tender leaves are picked in each spring harvest. They are then milled into a fine powder to create an ultra fine, vibrant green powder.

Add 1/2 – 1 teaspoon to a bowl or mug. Add 100ml cooled, cold or iced water, whisk vigorously until frothy. For a creamy latte, replace some or all of the water with almond or coconut milk. Add a touch of organic cacao powder for a slightly sweeter drink (a must try for coffee lovers). Try adding to desserts, smoothies and yogurts.
